Are Nintendo Switch games free?

The majority of Nintendo Switch games are not available for free.

However, there are a few notable exceptions! For example, Nintendo Switch Online members have access to a selection of classic Nintendo games for free. Additionally, there are a few free-to-play games available on the Nintendo Switch eShop such as Fortnite, Apex Legends™, and Pokémon™ UNITE.
